a fine occasion to write an entry in english – holidays in scotland.

what started with a puncture right after boarding the rented car, turned out to be a fun time. it wasn’t exactly relaxing and i was surprised to find myself with a renewed experience: enjoying trips. (usually it’s not my cup of tea to be dependent, having to co-orientate with other people or even spending a whole day on a trip. and i sure didn’t believe in something like “active recreation” – i’m not that sure any longer …)

the vacation was quite versatile, we met fabulous “natives”, were invited to a yummie yummie dinner, saw quite a bit of east scotland, paid a visit to the highlands, had a stroll around edingburgh – and i even got to play my first full rounds of golf after maybe three years of being a passive golfer.
