the last day of our little european tour was an overwhelming one. the sun had decided to show up as well, after weeks of being in hiding. the line-up – kings of leon, incubus, pearl jam – was fabulous, the location stunningly beautiful.
“pearl jam in the park” was the name of the event – and this title did all the associations one might have justice. the set list was not that extraordinary but of course still huge. (it’s just that the show in düsseldorf really marked a highlight not only for being a heimspiel for us but also for its atmosphere – and special choice of songs.)
the dutch photo series is quite ok, it was hard to choose which pictures not to post so i decided to upload most of the stuff. and there’s still videos to see, check and upload. but i guess there’ll be some time to do that – until the next time around. yes, we already miss the fun that come with travelling, meeting new and old people and listening to charismatic little speeches – and beautiful songs.
edit: of course the new flickr plugin doesn’t work properly rightaway – at least i can’t get it to work properly … i’ll do my best to fix that. until then, i chose to upload eddie, brendan and the leons to this gallery as well. ;-)

Ist auch nur ein unglücklicher Schnappschuss auf der ganzen “Tour”. ;-) So guck ich übrigens auch, wenn ich schwer konzentriert bin.
Zum zweiten Mal verheiratet, so scheint es, mit einem Katalogmodell, Vater einer kleinen Tochter, Olivia. Ist zehn Jahre älter als ich, Jahrgang 64. Und der Tenclub (so heißt der) hilft da gar nicht … ;-)
